between the lines ecourse

I am so happy to announce the launch of my very first ecourse! Between the Lines – telling the story of you & your business – is a 4+ week ecourse & group-coaching session designed to help you tell the story of how you got to be where you are and where you are going through a blog, website, or social media.

This ecourse is for you if you have wondered how to connect with your potential customers in a more personal way that benefits your business. If you’re looking to engage your readers, talk with them, share with them, I want to help you. If you’re unsure of how to represent your true self online, I want to inspire you.

I officially launched the ecourse last week on Scoutie Girl and since I’ve gotten some great questions. So I thought I’d answer a few here!

1.) This is NOT a blogging class. Of course, you’ll get great information for blogging and all of it will be applicable to your blog if you have one. But this class is more about building a portfolio of content – and a new mindset for your content – that you can then use on a website, blog, or online social network. Through each lesson, you’ll work on a different part of your story, building your content bit by bit and putting more of “you” out there to connect with your potential customers.

2.) This is NOT just for craft businesses. The principles I’m going to be working with apply no matter if you business is based around art, writing, consulting, gardening, plumbing, or selling widgets. As long as you are passionate about your business, I can help you tell your story.

3.) This is NOT going to be easy! Okay, so no one’s asked me if the class was going to be easy. But the truth is: it won’t be. I’m going to ask you to dig deep and talk about the experiences that have shaped you. It’s also going to be pretty intensive: 2 written lessons a week plus an audio or video message and a group chat.

4.) While I’m encouraging all the participants to keep up with the pace of the class as much as possible so that we can learn from each other as we go, the whole course will be archived and I will compile the base information into a package for all participants.

The class starts May 1 and will run for just over 4 weeks. If this sounds like something that could help you & your business connect with customers, you can find more information here.

I sing of the co-ed so lovely and fair
The kind that one often descries
She is somewhat strong-minded,
and short is her hair
And she wears glasses over her eyes.
