I’ve found myself as a blend of both, but recently moving more and more towards the entrepreneur. I think that you brought up a key point about outside perspectives. Despite the the fact that I spend all day listening to outside perspectives, it took me a long time to realize that I needed to get some of tailored specifically to my own situation. I think of the early mistakes we make is we try to do everything ourselves and that causes us to spin our wheels.

Well, surprise, it looks like I am an entrepreneur after all, even though I have a few manager skills :) Nice tips too, thank you Tara!

wow! What a great article Tara – I’m both, while some days I might be more on one side than the other – but always allow for flexibility to flip the switch… your descriptions and definitions are straight on! (And super useful in helping me develop and updating my own ‘daily action steps’ and goals….

I’m definitely more of an entrepreneur than manager, but this post makes me realize I’m uncomfortably trying to be a manager. Love the research, creativity and exploration side & any inspiration to learn into it further. Great post!

Interesting topic! I’m definitely in the entrepreneur category. I am working on getting better in the management department. I’m working on a schedule that will allow me to have creative time (which I love) and smaller blocks of time for promoting/bookkeeping/blogging so that I don’t feel so pressured that I’m not doing one or the other. Thanks for the great post!

Great article! I am for sure running my business like a startup, and never want to change that. Luckily for me my husband is running the same business as a manager. Things run smoothly, spin like a top, yet I am free to innovate and create. I never realized before the reason behind why what we do together works, but now I do! Thanks Tara.
