exciting news! new ebook from megan auman

By tara gentile on 03/21/2010

guide to wholesale & trade showsdid you see my new tagline? “behind-the-scenes of running a web empire and running after a toddler.”

well, i may not have a web empire *yet* but i’m on the fast track. and part of having a web empire, is knowing awesome people who do awesome work. megan auman is one of those people, and so, i’m excited to tell you about the resource she’s just released.

megan is a trained craftsperson. working from a bfa to an mfa, to creating a business based on retail craft shows then transitioning to a business based on wholesale accounts. now her goal is to help others do the same. she’s released her first ebook, the crafting an mba guide to wholesale & trade shows.

value is information all in one place

if you’re a business owner, you know that real value comes in information that is timely, helps you make more money, and is convenient. the crafting an mba guide to wholesale & trade shows is all of those things. this guide will help you take that step from individual retail sales to fulfilling orders from galleries & boutiques.

in part 1, megan explains how to jump into wholesaling: products, pricing, line sheets, contacting potential stores. in part 2, “all the information you need to tackle trade shows with confidence.” in discussing the book with megan, i told her what i liked the best was how much information she provided on topics that i wouldn’t have even known how to google!

the crafting an mba guide to wholesale & trade shows is $39 – and could save you lots of money in mistakes, lots of time in research, and make you money via a whole new aspect to your business.

by using the links above, you’re helping to support 3 indie businesses: yours, mine, and megan’s. thanks!

Thanks for the cue to come on over from the reader and see what you’ve been tinkering with here – love the tagline and the other little tweaks to this here blog!

I know that I’m not gonna do wholesale (for the foreseeable future…) but I do know that this guide would be a fantastic one if I did! Yay Megan!

I sing of the co-ed so lovely and fair
The kind that one often descries
She is somewhat strong-minded,
and short is her hair
And she wears glasses over her eyes.
