wanted: blogs

By tara gentile on 01/26/2010

wanted: blogs. two main reasons:

  • big guest posting opportunities.
  • free blog critiques.

my main numerical goal for 2010 is to build scoutie girl to 5,000 subscribers. i can’t do that without getting out into some new markets, in front of new audiences, and making new friends. so i need to guest post – a lot – at some big blogs.

now, of course, big is in the eye of the beholder. i’m looking for blogs that are interested in a guest post (one or regularly), blogs that have active & engaged audiences, blogs who might not have heard of scoutie girl but who would totally dig its content. practically, i’m looking for link authority and market penetration. relationally, i’m looking to expand my network to include even more awesome people.

is this your blog? would your blog benefit from my writing, my perspective, my eye for handmade & indie design? would our networks mutually benefit from joining forces? email me. i want to talk.

my second reason that i want some blogs is for free blog critiques here on this site. i would love to give you a few simple pointers on how you could develop your community further, communicate your brand better, or connect with buyers. of course, i’m also happy to tell you what you’re doing right, as well! i think we can all learn from each other and grow together. interested? contact me.

I sing of the co-ed so lovely and fair
The kind that one often descries
She is somewhat strong-minded,
and short is her hair
And she wears glasses over her eyes.
